Barry’s wealth of knowledge is based on his international experience in the metal fabrication and welding industry.

He is a valued member of the AWS team and his dedication to education and training will benefit the industry for many years to come.

Since Barry completed his five year apprenticeship as a boilermaker his knowledge and skills have taken him around the world to work in a wide variety of industry related fields. From the Nuclear Power Stations of Dungeness UK, to the Heineken Brewery in Amsterdam, and Pipe Welding in Mussel Bay, South Africa.

Barry currently resides as a Senior Lecturer at TAFE SA specialising in Welder Certification.
